New Menu

Dan and his team have created our new menu for Spring. These dishes are freshly cooked in our on-site kitchen using the best quality ingredients sourced from our shop or locally wherever possible.

Starters include classic prawn cocktail or bruschetta of sourdough with avocado, tomato and halloumi.

Mains – our classic kedgeree with smoked haddock, curry aoli, poached egg and samphire; Thai noodle broth with chicken, rice noodles and veg or a warm squash and parma ham salad.

A selection of freshly made sandwiches on granary or white bread or a wrap are also available.


We also have our Specials menu which makes the most of ingredients available that day with dishes such as roast guinea fowl stuffed with apricots & sage served with duchess potato, red cabbage and purple sprouting broccoli or beetroot risotto with marinated feta and caraway yogurt.

Yummy desserts include apple crumble with honeycomb ice cream, lemon posset with fennel cookies and our own marmalade steaming pudding and custard.


Sunday lunch is all about our delicious roasts – a choice of meats served with selection of veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pud – kids’ roasts as well as vegetarian and fish options.

Our Traditional English Afternoon Tea is served from 3 – (though not on Sundays)

Warm homemade scone with jam and clotted cream, finger sandwiches and home baked cakes or pastries with a choice of tea or coffee £11.95
