Our Strawberry crop

25th May 2017

It’s going to be a cracker this year – already laden with heavy bountiful fruit, this sunshine is making them deliciously tasty.

Hasn’t all been plain sailing – lost a lot to that last frost and had to plant again; needing lots of watering too.

Strawberries are available to buy in the shop and the chefs are using them in the café –

Please keep an eye on the  home page of the website for information on the PYO though – the recent warmth has ripened some of the strawberries quicker than expected and we may be able to open for a day or two at a time until the picking season is in full swing.
