Our tasty seasonal menus are freshly cooked to order on the premises using quality fresh fruit and vegetables from our farm and shop as well as carefully sourced local meat and other produce. Our food is all served by our welcoming, friendly staff.
Start the day with our hearty farmhouse breakfast using free-range eggs. Our lunch menu offers a selection of sandwiches made to order, delicious homemade soup, salads, tasty light small plated snacks and a selection of large plated main dishes as well as puddings and a cheeseboard featuring our cheeses from the Farmshop. The dishes on our children’s menu are also all freshly prepared.
During the week, Dan, our head chef and his team cook a tempting choice of daily lunch specials such as Smoked Haddock, Leek and Buckwheat Chowder with Cockles, Roast Pork Belly with Celeriac Puree, Dauphinoise Potatoes, Asparagus Fritters and Purple Sprouting Broccoli, or Bruschetta with Smoked Mackerel, Watercress & Horseradish Crème Fraîche. Our puddings too are homemade, Rhubarb and Apple Hazelnut Crumble with Cream, Ice-cream or Custard – delicious!
There are cakes of the day too with iced banana cake or milk chocolate and Goji berry muffins for a satisfying bite.
On Sundays we offer a wholesome brunch and a choice of three traditional roasts for lunch as well as fish and vegetarian dishes.
