Our tasty seasonal menus are freshly cooked to order on the premises by Dan, our head chef and his team using quality fresh fruit and vegetables from our farm and shop as well as carefully sourced local meat and other produce. The food is all served by our welcoming, friendly staff.
Start the day with our hearty farmhouse breakfast or eggs Benedict using free-range eggs. Our lunch menu offers a variety of options:
Light lunches – salt and pepper squid, crispy duck salad, soups and sandwiches, served from 11.30am until 30 minutes before closing.
Classic dishes – pies, fish and chips as well as a number of hot seasonal dishes, like Sri Lankan curry or our own asparagus served with new potatoes, hollandaise and poached egg, – these change weekly and are served from 12noon until 3.00pm.
For those who enjoy a sweet something to finish there’s always a delicious selection of homemade desserts – white chocolate panna cotta with raspberry puree or sticky toffee pudding with honeycomb ice cream. Or a cheeseboard featuring our cheeses from the shop.
Tempting home baked cakes and pastries are available throughout the day.
The dishes on our children’s menu are all freshly prepared.
Sunday lunch is hugely popular with a selection of starters, followed by a choice four different roasts served with all the traditional trimmings as well as fish and vegetarian options and to finish homemade desserts.
